Uncle David was one in a million. I spent most of my early teenage years baby sitting Tim and Kate and would beg him to let me stay with him for the summer holidays. It was so much better than being at home with boring parents! LoL. My love of good wine and gin came from David and I still use all the methods he taught me to decide what wine to buy. His Sod Off Vodka (which I still have a tiny drop of) was the most talked about drink at our millennium New Year party. We shared a great love of seafood as well although I would never stretch to sucking the brains from the prawns as he would! To say he was a tad competitive is an understatement. I remember one Christmas we were playing scrabble and we introduced an egg timer as he would take so long trying to work out the highest score possible. I kept telling him off for taking so long so her threw a satsuma at me as I left the room! All good fun. Most of all David was a loving, caring man who deserved to have so much longer with the people who loved him. Rest in peace dear uncle David you will always be in our hearts.
